Commonly Asked Figure Skating Questions  -
At a test session or competition, what happens if a skater's music will not play properly?

When a problem occurs in a test session, at the start or during the program, the judge in charge of the panel will call the skater over and give he or she a specific amount of time to provide an alternative CD source.
The event referee at a competition will function in the same way.

If after being given an opportunity for the CD to play, the skater will be disqualified by the judge in charge at a test session or by the event referee at a competition.
